Known for its strategic location, Eritrea has a long history of trade, as well as a complex past marked by struggles for independence.

  • Asmara, Eritrea’s capital, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its unique collection of Italian Art Deco and modernist architecture from the colonial era.
