Tajikistan is a mountainous, landlocked country in Central Asia known for its stunning landscapes, including towering peaks and deep valleys. The nation has a rich cultural heritage influenced by Persian traditions, and it boasts a long history as part of the ancient Silk Road. Although primarily agrarian, Tajikistan is focusing on developing its hydropower potential, leveraging its abundant river resources.
